Manzanita Blossoms

Manzanita is very easy to identify when walking through Red Rock Canyon, with its elliptic-shaped leaves and distinctive red bark. My favorite time for manzanita is in the spring when the bushes are filled with clusters of flowers that look like miniature lanterns.
